1) Friend Rene' - continued health concerns and medical decisions
2) Friend Lynn - continued health concerns
3) Niece Jessica - health concerns
4) Michael - roommate situation
5) Jane - sickness

And I'm praising God for:
1) Rick is feeling better
2) Michael's special lady that has entered his life.

Prayers for 2/15/07

Today I am praying for...
1) My son's roommate/apartment situation
2) My husband's job and the related contract issues
3) My friend CC who is having a birthday today
4) My friend Pam's brother who is ill

1) Anna C. An 8 yr old friend of a friend who was just diagnosed with an overactive thyroid. MRI on Tuesday to rule out tumor.

2) Continued prayers for Sunday's off for Rick without having a negative financial impact on our family.

3) Continued prayers for those who are reading the blogs. That they will be blessed and challenged. That they will give God the glory for things that they get out of the posts.

4) For God to continue to lead in the writing and eventual speaking.

1) My friend KM who is having some personal problems. I pray for true wisdom in her life.

2) The elections and those who have not yet voted. I pray that they will understand the priviledge they have and get out and vote!

3) Continued prayer for Rick to be off on Sunday without a negative financial impact on our family.

4) Financial resources to write professionally (Christian motivational) and to become a speaker --- full-time.

1) My niece Michelle. Life situation.

2) Catie G - Still having health concerns

3) MY NEW COUSIN QUIN!!! My cousin Cindy and her husband welcomed a new baby boy to their family today! Praising God for a safe delivery (on Cindy's uncle's birthday...that uncle would be my Dad!!!)

1) Direction - As I've written before, my #1 prayer request is that my husband would be able to get Sundays off without adversely affecting our financial situation. He has learned about a position at work that 'may' become available and 'should' have Sundays off. On one side he is not sure that it is a position that he wants and on the other side he has asked me to be in prayer about it. So I am praying for him to follow the Holy Spirits direction regarding this position.

2) My son - God knows the concerns we have. I pray that God will grab hold of him and fully direct each of his steps.

10/25/06 Prayer list

1) My niece Michelle who wants to move out on her own but is not financially ready. I pray for her to have peace about where she is and that she will trust our loving Lord to prepare her for when the time is right.

2) My S-I-L Jane waiting on test results.

3) My friend Pam in PA. She is hurting and having some difficult times. I have not been able to 'chat' with her so I'm trusting God to hold her in the palm of His hand.

1) Catie G. -- Having a colonoscopy this week. She is just 14. Praying for her, for her doctors, for her parents, for a quick and accurate diagnosis.

2) Old friends that I miss from Jax and Pit.

3) Distant cousin Brenda who has stage 4 bone cancer and has 3 preschool children. Praying for her and her doctors and for those precious babies.

Today I am praying for:

1) Safe travels for Mom and Dad.

2) My cousin Jason as he prepares to be a groom this weekend. I pray that God will bless their marriage.

3) My cousin Danny...just because he is on my mind.

4) My friend Dona that I knew in PA because I miss her.

5) My friend Darlene in PA who is one of the best listeners I know. I miss her often.

6) My friend Rhonda in FL. I pray she is healthy and that I get to see her next month.

Today:

I'm praising God that He is rarely early but never late. I'll post more in my Little Lessons from my Loving Lord blog later today.

I'm also thanking Him again for cell phones as I spoke with Mom and Dad on my way to work this morning.

Today I am praying for:

1) Focus: Professionally and personally. I seem very easily distracted from the task at hand.

2) Self-control: I need to loose weight and self-control is the key.

3) Praise that Mom and Dad had good doctors visits.

4) Dad...his blood pressure was low. I pray that it will be regulated

5) Mom...her blood pressure still runs high. I pray that it will come down and stay down.

Today I am praying for:

1) A new friend that does not know the Lord. I introduced her to Proverbs 31 today through a conversation and I'm praying that she finds the Lord as her personal Lord and Savior.

2) My niece Michelle has started a new job and I pray that she finds success and more in this new position.

3) My son Michael is making decisions about school. I pray that God will guide him in his decision

4) I'm praising God that my nephew Wayne is happy with a recent career change that he made. I'm praying that God will grow him in wisdom through this new position. He and his wife would love to have a child together. I'm praying for God's will in that.

5) I'm praising God that my cousin Misty has a precious new baby. This baby is a miracle since Misty was in a life-changing accident a while back.

6) I'm praying for Brenda, my moms cousin Mable's daughter. She is having problems with her bones and I pray wisdom for the doctors and peace for Brenda and her whole family.

7) I'm praying that God will continue to guide and direct Rick in his career. My hearts desire is that he can find a job that he will enjoy that will allow him to be off on Sundays again so we can worship together. My prayer is that the new opportunity that he finds will be continue to supply our financial needs.

8) I'm praying that in my search for a new Church God will lead me exactly where He wants me. I pray that I will set my 'ideal church' aside and find the church that God wants me to plug into.
